Artist Michael Mararian has curated a group exhibit of works inspired by books to be presented by Last Rites Galllery in NYC.  I made a sculpture from an antique book for the show.  The title is "Sangre del Vampiro" (Blood of The Vampire) which is loosely inspired by late 1800's vampire protection kits.   The opening reception is on Saturday December 14th, 2013 from 7-11pm.

NEW PAINTING- "Kargameddon"

Here's a new work I made for the 5 Year Anniversary Show at Last Rites Gallery in NYC.  It's a reworking of my original smaller mixed media collage of the same name created a few years ago.
I made some changes to the original piece.  Some people thought the figure looked like Adolf Hitler so I changed him.  The other changes were to the background and paint drips.
The final painting is 16" x 20" Acrylic and paper on canvas. I'm glad I did it.  This had been on my easel for a while.
